David Smith - Lead Frontend Developer
As the co-founder and lead frontend developer, David brings a passion for innovative app design and functionality to Aelid. His journey in tech began with developing personal applications, a passion that led to collaborating on projects for startups.
His commitment to ensuring both the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) are not only intuitive and easy to navigate but also aesthetically pleasing, has been a cornerstone of his work. Notably, David developed and released his first app at the age of 20, achieving over 1,000 downloads on both Android and iOS platforms.
Outside of his professional life, David is an avid surfer, deeply passionate about the environment and the health of our oceans. He also enjoys video games, spending quality time with his partner, indulging in his love for BBQ and cooking, and maintaining an active lifestyle in the gym.
